Conditions of service

1. Fares and payment

1.1 You pay the official taxi meter fare plus any actual tolls, directly to your driver at the end of the ride, by the payment methods the taxi accepts. Kaja takes no prepayment and adds no booking, service or platform fee. The name-sign pickup at the airport is included at no charge.

1.2 The meter is the fare. Kaja does not show or promise a fixed amount for a metered ride. Where a written quote is needed — see section 7 — it appears in your confirmation and applies only to that booking.

1.3 Your driver gives you the meter receipt on request. Kaja does not handle payments and issues no invoice for the fare.

2. Booking

2.1 You request a ride with the booking form. Your request is confirmed when we send a booking number and your driver's details, usually within 2 hours, and within 30 minutes for pickups less than 6 hours away. Until then nothing is booked and nothing is owed.

2.2 Your status link shows the driver's first name, vehicle and plate number, your meeting point and the live state of the ride. Keep the link private: anyone who has it can see the booking.

2.3 To change a time, place or passenger count, use the status link or message us. Changes are confirmed the same way as a new booking.

3. Changes, cancellation and no-show

Because Kaja does not take prepayment, we do not charge cancellation fees. We simply ask that you tell us as early as you can — your driver has usually already blocked out the time. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in future bookings being declined.

3.1 Cancelling or changing before pickup is free at any time.

3.2 A customer no-show is when the driver has waited at the meeting point for 30 minutes after the pickup time and cannot reach you through the contact you gave us. No fare is charged for a no-show, but Kaja may decline future bookings from the same account.

3.3 If your driver fails to appear or is late through the driver's fault, Kaja assigns a replacement as quickly as possible. If no replacement is possible, Kaja reimburses the reasonable cost of alternative transport for the same journey, as Article 10.2 of the Terms describes.

4. Waiting time

4.1 Airport pickups include free waiting for up to 1 hour after your flight lands. City pickups include free waiting for 15 minutes after the pickup time.

4.2 Kaja charges no separate waiting fee, and nothing is charged before you are in the car. If you expect to be later than the free waiting time, message us or your driver as early as you can; we rearrange the pickup where we can, and section 3.2 applies if we cannot reach you.

5. Flight delay

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, there is no charge and no penalty. If you gave us your flight number, we will usually notice before you do and message you first.

5.1 Your driver monitors the flight and adjusts the pickup. The free waiting time in section 4 counts from the actual landing time.

5.2 If the delay means your driver can no longer make the pickup, we tell you and arrange another driver or a free cancellation.

6. Luggage and vehicle

6.1 Your driver's car is a Kia EV6. It carries up to 3 passengers with their luggage, and the booking form tells you before you confirm whether your party and bags fit, whether we need to check with the driver, or whether we will arrange a second car.

6.2 Where a second car is needed, it is one booking with the same meet and greet, and each car runs on its own official meter.

6.3 Child seats, oversized items and pets must be mentioned in the booking notes so the driver can prepare or tell us in advance that the ride is not possible.

7. Outside Seoul and hourly charters

7.1 Journeys that begin or end outside Seoul, and hourly charters, are quoted individually before you confirm. The quote appears in your confirmation and states the basis on which the fare and tolls are calculated.

7.2 Unless the confirmation says otherwise, the official meter and actual tolls apply to those journeys too.
